If you have trouble installing check the pinned topic for help.
We are going to need to change our version number to 10 !!!
We are through the main files archives of GTA V!
Close to completing the full development of this mod!
In the process some very exciting changes have come along like:
*OpenIV defragmenting via installer!
The biggest part of the mod depends on OpenIV defragment each archive contained in an archive then defragment that archive afterwards. This is crucial to the peak performance of our mod. This version assures for proper defragmentation of all archives we edit!
*Creating Vanilla version along with the N8Gamez style; so the choice is yours.
After installing all the oiv packages we are able to reduce the game archives by 10GB from RE-Sizing the images!! With no noticeable image loss this version is well on its way to becoming a staple mod!
GTA V RE-Sized is a perfect base to build your favorite modded game on.
In RE-Sizing the textures your computer can throw the images much faster and smoother now so your CPU/GPU and memory will be happier too!
Now you can install those crisp images on the areas of the game you want to accentuate and not stutter your game so hard.
REQUIRED INSTALL FOR MOD:
You need to install the "x64".oiv files
( i.e.: x64a.rpf and x64d.fpr.oiv, x64c.rpf.oiv, x64e.rpf.oiv etc...)
You need to have all current dlcpacks for a successful install of the dlcpacks.
( OpenIV does not create the whole dlc.rpf it needs the original to build from.)
The dlcpacks are important as they have many peds/vehicles/weapons/props etc.. that we have RE-Sized which help with improving game performance.
Ok let's take a look and get a feel for the new repository layout.
We now are offering multiple options for the update.rpf,
The vanilla edits are without loading screens/music, map mod/ colored weapon/music wheel or timecycle edits,
no handling vehicles or popgroup edits are done to your game files.
4k 3-D Map mod by CSYON is beautiful but can be taxing on smaller game rigs...
so we are offering it in 4k, 2k and 1k versions; in all 4k, 2k, 1k update.rpf oiv packages.
Timecycle edits offer rich color scheme, ( and seem to offer better speed/action/motion for me ),
with vibrant weather patterns.
Yet there are so many timecycle edits out there so we offer our 4k, 2k, 1k update.rpf edits with or without them.
Changes to the handling.meta, vehicles.meta and popgroups.ymt include optimizing spawn ratio,
more diverse car types in game, the addition of the Enduro spawning on the streets along with other
cars of various dlcpacks are great....
Menu screen 3-D colored Map mods are great!
But not for everyone.... now we also offer our 4k, 2k, 1k update.rpf edits with or without them.
We have completed x64l, x64n, x64p and x64q edits, added in:
enduro.oiv
( a mod to add the enduro with sound of blazer into main game files.)
chp and offroad motorcycle cops mod, ( updated to include flashing lights on the CHP Cruiser and fixed issue of spawning the cop bike so no more empty bikes spawning! )
x64g.rpf has the most ytd edits so we have broken it into two installers
GTA V RE-Sized x64g part 2 comes in two options high quality traffic and low quality traffic to get the extra action when cruising the streets of L.S.
All assembly.xml(s) are color coded and identify each package by name so you know what package you just installed by noticing the same color you just saw on the last package,
Seeing the name of the x64 or rpf files edited with the current installer,
or looking at the title or top of the grey boarder of the install window to see what package you are closing.
Also we offer a few more tips and tutorials on things offered in the modded files versions, how to further edit them
and some test files you can try out, these are cleaned up from the game files N8Gamez found/cleaned that were broken code.
