Since the LSPD uses old harley bikes, it was time for a new bike in the fleet.
It's faster, better responding and has lots of lights.
Made the body of the bike wider, like it's realtime counterpart the BMW 1200.
Improved a lot of things.
Has multiple lore liveries(LSPD, LSSD, SAHP)
If you have bugs, movies or screenshots feel free to comment.
It's unlocked for improvement, personal use, dev tool etc. as long as the credits are mentioned.
I had it for a long time as many cars, made it for personal use. thought it would be nice to release it.
v1.1 added automatic installs(add-on/replace) changed the siren textures(better lights) and added mirror siren lights, fixed the dirt mapping.
V1.2 added the right hakuchou bike sound
V1.3 added the Police BF400 dirtbike + EUP LSPDFR config files to let them spawn in traffic.
V1.4 fixed the bodymapping problem
FAQ:
Q: Can I use this as add-on?
A: Yes you can.
Q: How to install?
A: After downloading the .zip, extract the .rar files and copy the folder "Add-Ons" to the root of your game's installation folder, overwriting any files if prompted.
Q: How can I uninstall it?
A: Delete the folder "Add-Ons" from your LSPD/mods/game folder and patches as well.
Q: What should I do if my bike doesn't spawn in traffic? I don't see it anywhere! It's very annoying! And what about my errors in scripts!? I hate that! What should I do!? There is no help for me!! And where is my money?!?!?!?!?!?!?
A: The above is a common problem. Please, have patience. There are a few things you can try:
1. Go to your game folder and look for the file "vehicles_common_bf400.meta" and delete it.
2. Go to your game folder and look for the file "vehicles_common_bf400_eu.meta" and delete it as well. If that doesn't work, then you need to re-run the script "add-on/replace" in order for your bike to spawn properly in traffic again.
3. Try using the bike with a different name (e.g., "Hakucho Police Bike") while you're still not in traffic; if that doesn't work, then you'll have to re-run the script "add-on/replace". You can also try deleting the .meta files from your "\Documents\LSPD\mods\game\" folder, but be aware that doing so may cause some other problems with LSPD if you're not careful about this step as well (like LSPDFR requiring certain patches).
4." I found a bug! What should I do?
A: Please report bugs on GitHub at https://github.com/LSPDFR/LSPDFR/issues . Please include details such as what mods and versions of those mods are installed, what steps you took to reproduce the bug and a screenshot or video if possible. Thanks!
Q: I'm getting a message that says "Script error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." What does it mean?
A: If you're getting this message, then your game is probably out of date and/or the .meta files for the bike have been removed from your "\Documents\LSPD\mods\game\" folder. If that's the case, then please re-install the latest version of LSPD (v1.1 patch) from here and make sure that the .meta files are present in your "\Documents\LSPD\mods\game\" folder before installing this add-on again.
Q: Can I use other mods with this?
A: Yes! Just make sure that you don't overwrite any of LSPD's files with other mods' files as it can cause some problems with LSPD and end up corrupting or overwriting some important scripts.
Q: Can I use other mods' sound packs with this?
A: Yes, but these sound packs need to be named "police siren" (without quotes). This is because LSPD uses the police siren sound as its own, so if you want to use another sound pack, then rename it accordingly (e.g., "police siren_d
