I painted up this Alpinestars jacket to go along with my Repsol Honda livery for Nicky Hayden, "the Kentucky Kid," as sort of a tribute to an awesome racer and a kind soul who recently passed away as a result of a car crashing into him whilst he was cycling. I was a fan of Nicky Hayden and I was once lucky enough to have met him in person at a qualifying and practice day before a major race, he invited me and my friend into their teams pit area for the day; about four hours. I got to hang-out with him and his team, eat with them, talk and learn about the race bikes and whatnot. He was a kind down to earth guy. Sad to see him go. I hope that you enjoy the jacket.
