Description

The Shining

This map mod takes you into the Shining, it was a novel written by Stephen King and was later filmed by Stanley Kubrick. I recognized a scenery that also fits into GTA5 so i decide to make a map mod of it, since Trevor Philips has some characteristic features like Jack Nicholson. It took me a lot of work to make it. Don't be scared ;~)

You need to use a objectlist that contains All DLC's [biker-stunts-import/export] I included my objectlist! place it in your scripts folder and maybe delete also your invalid object list to ensure you get all objects from the list.

Object Spawn Unlocker 1.1 to get more objects.

If you use Menyoo you don't need this.

How to load a map

You need to put the xml files into the base directory Press F7 and don't enter map-editor but just load the map you want by typing the name of it, then you will be automatic teleported [first to the golf club to load all the items] to the overlook hotel. If you want to load another map with a different scenery press F7 again and choose first for load NEW MAP to erase the current map [because map editor can't handle more then 2048 props] then load map.

Changes 1.1

Added 2 xtra maps; one Zombie map and a Shineparty map.The Zombie map has a lot of zombies everywhere into the hotel & maze. The Shineparty map gives the Goldroom more party people. Look in the download for more information. Have fun

The best time to set in game is in the evening, then you'll see some more details with lightning. You can let it snow with a mod or trainer to create more atmosphere. If the main house doesn't load try then to reload the map.
