USMC Base Fort Zancudo

This texture mod changes some signs of the Fort Zancudo in order to make it look as a real USMC base and Air Station. It also changes the texture of the Memorial located at the bridge which leads to the eastern gate of the base. The textures are based in the real ones of the “Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton” and “MCAS Pendleton”. The real photos where adjusted to the GTA V universe so this mod is both for the gamers who like to play in San Andreas as well as those who prefer California.

The USMC Camp Pendleton is located in California, south of the city of L.A. Although geographically is in a different part compared to Fort Zancuzo’s location, it provides a combination of a US Marines Base as well as an Air Station like F.Z. It has a relative similar layout and it also has some eye-catching and unusual welcome signs which overall make it a nice choice for combining the reality with the GTA V universe. The Vandenberg Air Force Base which in the real life is located in the area of Fort Zancudo, has nothing to do with the purpose and the layout of the Fort (and it doesn’t have Marines either). Nevertheless, there are also some other military bases in California with promising options for future mod combinations of the reality and the GTA V universe.
