After the Casino Heist DLC - Rockstar changed the read paths to the radar/minimap leaving the old x64a.rpf useless...
The new working path is update/update.rpf/x64/textures.
Installation:
Replace "graphics.ytd" file in "mods/update/update.rpf/x64/textures" and that's it.
Detailed Manual/Custom Installation for optional radar masks:
Open the existing graphics.ytd, go to the texture editor and manually replace radarmaskm" with the one that suits you best.
You'll find these textures in the folder with said name.

The radar masks do not work with transparency BUT WITH COLORS!
Got a little experimental and added optional masks to suit different "transparency" levels.
Files are now BMP Bit Map Images.
Now in 4 variants.

Q: Why not a 1.1 update?
A: The old radar masks were removed from the game and there is no way to re-enable them.
Q: Is it working with the new minimap?
A: Yes, as long as you use "radarmaskm" texture in your graphics.ytd file.
Q: How do I get them to work?
A: Open the "mods/update/update.rpf/x64/textures" folder and replace the graphics.ytd file with one of the ones you wish to use.
Q: Why didn't you include a "radarmaskm_whitewash" variant?
A: Because I have no idea what this is supposed to be.
Q: Why did they remove the original radar mask from the game?
A: Because they made it too easy!
