Some may remember before GTA V had first person view, there was an option in LS Customs for Pure Black tint. It basically painted your windows and there was no seeing in or out, only black. Sadly, it was removed with the re-release of GTA on PS4, XB1, and PC.
This little edit allows you to have Pure Black tint once again, and bask in the glory of ultimate privacy.
Installation: Everything you need to know is in the readme, but here's a quick rundown...
-Choose to replace Light Smoke, Dark Smoke, or Limo tints with Pure Black. Works in LS Customs and with a trainer.
-Trainer Only: choose this if you want to keep all the vanilla tints. You can only access Pure Black through a trainer (I've only used Menyoo, it'll be "Stock" tint under Windows in Menyoo customs. I don't know if other trainers have this option.)
-There is also an option to manually edit the carcols.ymt file IF you have another mod that changes this file (i.e. Vanillaworks or a light/graphics mod). The files I included are unmodified carcols minus the tint values.
*This won't affect cars that spawn in-game! Unlike changing the tint values in vehicles.meta that controls what tint cars have when they spawn, this only changes the values LS Customs uses. So cars still spawn in with their correct tint!
*This is literally solid black. If you have a car mod where tint affects the windshield and lights, they will be solid black too.
I plan to update this mod by putting the Pure Black tint back in LS Customs. If you know how to do this, please feel free to contact me. Until then I will try to figure it out myself.
This is just a fun little mod for grins, not really practical. Enjoy your black windows!
